McVAY'S DANCING CLASSES

Dance tonight in new Moose Temple. Charles Hamp will entertain tonight with his saxophone and songs.

SMALLPOX AT PITTSBURG.

Harrisburg, Jan. 5. -- State health authorities were notified today that a man who was employed at the Westinghouse plant in Pittsburg is suffering from smallpox. The department will send a representative to Pittsburg to make plans to check a spread of the disease.

ON ITALIAN FRONT.

Rome, Jan. 5. -- Artillerying and aircraft activity was all the Italian official statement had to report today.

MISS JANE CONRATH OF
CUBA, N.Y., IN CITY

Miss Jane Conrath, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Elmer E. Conrath, of N.Y., is in the city as the guest of Mrs. J. J. Miller, of 635 Part avenue, on her way to Oberlin College. Miss Conrath formerly resided in the city and attended the Johnstown High School for two years. This is her second year at Oberlin College.
