At a Court of Quarter Sessions of the Peace held at Ebensburg for the County of Cambria on the 7th day of March Anno Domini 1808 and continued by adjournment until the following day. Before the Honorable Abraham HILDEBRAND Esq, President Judge, and George ROBERTS, Esq, Associate Judge of the same Court.
The Sheriff of the County of Cambria having returned the precepts to him directed, in all things duly executed, whereupon the following persons were sworn and affirmed as a Grand Inquest:

Pennsylvania vs Frederick KUHN. Defendant bound in $200. Jacob FOIT bound in $100. Conditioned that the said Frederick KUHN shall be of good behaviour and keep the peace towards all of the liege citizens of this Commonwealth and particularly towards Garret REAM until next Sessions and appear at that time and shew cause why he should not be further continued under Recognizance.
Pennsylvania vs Garret RHEAM. Defendant bound in $200. Peter FOX bound in $100. Conditioned that the said Garret RHEAM shall be of good behaviour and keep the peace towards all the liege citizens of this Commonwealth and particularly towards Frederick KUHN until the next Session and appear at that time and shew cause why he should not be further continued under Recognizance.
Pennsylvania vs John NAGLE, Richard MCGUIRE, Joseph MCGEEHAN, Michael MULLEN, John MULHOLLAND, John FELTZ, and Peter GARRIGAN. Assault and Battery on James MCGUIRE. Defendants being arraigned plead non cul et de hoc Attorney General Simileter. Defendants each bound in $100. Conditioned for their appearance at the next Court of Quarter Sessions to answer to a charge of Assault and Battery on James L MCGUIRE. Samuel GALBRAITH bound in $700. Conditioned for the appearance of the defendants.

Defendants being arrigned plead non cul et de hoc Attorney General Similiter. Defendants severally bound in $100. Conditioned for their appearance at the next Court of Quarter Sessions to answer to a charge of Assault and Battery on John HOLLIDAY. Samuel GALBRAITH bound in $700. Conditioned for the appearance of the defendants.

Pennsylvania vs John NAGLE and others: James CURREN sentenced to pay the costs of prosecution on this indictment and ordered to be committed to the jail unless he find security to pay them in ten days. Ordered into the custody of the Sheriff.

June 1808

Commonwealth vs Thomas CROYLE. Presentment by Grand Jury. Thomas CROYLE bound to appear at next Sessions in $100. Samuel White bound in $100, conditioned for the appearance of defendant at next Sessions. September Sessions: James C MCGUIRE Esq and Samuel RIDDLE Esq each bound in $50 to appear at next Circuit Court.

December 1809
At a Court of General Quarter Sessions of the Peace held at Ebensburg for the county of Cambria on the first Monday of December, 1809, before the Honorable John YOUNG, President, and Abraham HILDEBRAND and George ROBERTS, Associates.
Constables called and appeared, viz: John SLOUDER, for Conemaugh Twp, John BROWN for Cambria Twp, John STORM for Allegheny Twp.
The following persons presented petitions for tavern licenses and recommended by the Court, viz: Roger JENKINS, John LINTIN, John GROSEMCLE, Abraham MOONEY, and David WILLIAMS.
The following persons presented petitions for naturalization and were admitted to the Court, to wit, Thomas NEES and William KERNEY.
?????? vs James ELDER, Esq. James ELDER Esq Tent in $100. Joseph LILLY Tent in $50. Conditioned for the appearance of the defendant at next Court of Quarter Sessions.
Commonwealth vs James ELDER, Esq. Robert JACK Tent in $50 to testify for the Commonwealth. Costs: $10.33
21 Dec 1809. Received by the hands of James ELDER the sum of $8.57 on the above costs. March Sessions 1810: On motion held under advisement by the Court whether the costs of subpoenas to the witnesses should be struck off. June Sessions 1810: The Court orders $2.40 to be struck out of the bill of costs.
The Commonwealth vs James ELDER. Evidence: Robert JACK and Patrick CAMPBELL. Defendant submits to the Court. Sentence of the Court is that the defendant pay six cents damages and costs of prosecution.
